let's review the diamond market at this post,
how the prices of white polished is calculated? how the prices of colored diamonds are calculated?
how to transact?how to trnsact internationally? 
so you all ready started to chase your dream?you have a real supplier you have your own capital you acquired some knowledge and still find yourself struggling? do not be worried it takes time to people to know you trust what you say and count on your word. remember one thing trust and your word is the most strongest thing in this business that will bring you up or down.
you purchased a rough diamond you polished it certify it and your next question is how much can i sell it for? in gemology school they teach a wrong perception that all the white diamonds are sold by 50% below the rapaport lists. well it is very wrong.
let's start from rapaport, rapaport is a list made based of analyzing the end consumer of jewelry in the big shops at new york. this is how you know which sizes,clarity and color the consumer want at the moment. 
DEMAND & SUPPLY how do i know which size clarity shape and color i need to put out in th market currently? well you have few ways..go around shopping, no no not jewelry shopping i mean go around diamond exchange offices, check what they are looking for at which prices,try to negotiate even if you dont buy or sell, it is good for practice and open a new opportunity.
you would learn step by step.
COLORED DIAMOND PRICES AND BIG WHITE DIAMONDS let's start from the bottom, first and for most THERE IS NO PRICING LISTS FOR COLORED DIAMONDS.
the prices based upon latest auction sales.
so it means there is no practical physical list you just need to follow news and auction sales lists recently.
most of colored diamonds are sold within big diamond dealers and auction to end consumer.
the same law is applied to large white diamonds. most of the owners would not use brokers to sell those unique diamonds because after the certificates and pictures of those diamonds are circulating online or between a lot of people the diamond is "burned"and a "burned"diamond reduces the price for it.
to transact on large sized diamonds and colored diamonds is a very small community and small circle, you need to make sure you have both ends the buyer and seller. you need to see the diamond with your own eyes and inspect it to have confidence and talk to the buyer, and you need to make sure the buyer can back up his offer. how you do all of that? you travel to the buyer and seller, big business take time it is not a matter of hours or days.
so just travel :-)

AFRICA-CRAZY PLACE

Hi there to everyone, it's been a long time since i wrote, i was pretty dissconected from the western world. yes yes i have been purchasing rough diamonds in Africa. well let me tell you Africa is a crazy place and scarry for most of business men's/womens specialy in the diamond business and gold. yeah yeah i know your follow up question, why? a lot of foriegn brokers think that diamond and gold buyers not willing to fly to africa, they are absolutly wrong! we fly all the time sometimes even 2 times in a month. so why is your rough diamond buyer don't fly to africa by your recomendation in regards to a seller? because you don't know local prices you dont know local laws and you dont know how to minimize the risks! should i continue on what you don't know? i think it's enough. to get a buyer fly to africa for your seller you need to make asolid ground and establish good base from him to fly. how you ask me? fly first by your self ask the l

SCAMMERS GOT SCAMMED?

missed me? i'm back.. soooo today i would like to expos a few things. during one of my business trips i have landed in guinea conakry,the easisest place for scammers. everything is coropted from low to high level you can praticaly kill someone and get out of it free of charge,you only need MONEY. so i landed in guinea conakry not my first time in the country and not the last. as i landed one of my employee's was meeting me just after the luggage collecting area. i was thinking about this idea for a long time and learned about this for a long time, i want to see scammers in real life time as i all ready know majority of their methods from stories and personal experience. so i went to my appartment relaxed woke up ready for 7 days trying to get scammed. funny right? yes i was trying to make them scam me  by force. i was shocked to find out one big group of scammers using one person he pretend to be south african but have a solid british accenet. so as i star
